Did Somebody Say Amulet Sale?

I started going through my magic stuff today and taking inventory of what i have, and i realize that i have a whole lot of unsold amulets.  They're all sad and neglected, feeling unwanted and unclaimed *sniff*  Since i'm not the most organized gal in the world, i didn't know they had been collecting for the past two years.  So, i feel that the time is right for them to leave my posession and go and meet their rightful owners.

Now is a great time to make me an offer on anything that strikes you or maybe something you once liked but was too expensive.  I'll post their original asking price and i'll also post the minimum price i'd consider selling the particular piece for.  Make me an offer somewhere in that range, and you'll have yourself a new, handmade, super special amulet all your own!  Every one of these little guys will fit in a small Priority Mail box which ships for $4.85.  I only take PayPal.  All amulets can of course be blessed for their new owners as well, free of charge.

Lucky Earrings

Here's a pair of earrings i whipped out earlier today.  They're good luck earrings, possibly one the first of many - sterling silver ear wires, pewter and silver-tone charms, glass beads, and genuine Abrus seeds.  I'm going to list them on eBay in the next few days.

(As a side note, i guarantee if i put the words "haunted" or "spell" on the eBay item description, they'd sell in a second, certainly for at least twice what they're worth.  I get a real kick out of reading the BS haunted listings on eBay, things that supposedly have genies or spirits in them, jewelry ritually blessed by a whole coven of gypsy witches, authentic witch-worn items, enchanted or "enspelled" this and thats.  And sadly, folks do really buy these items - a lot of folks buy these items.  There's a great eBay guide written by a very clever and kindly fellow on the topic which i recommend heartily - here's the link.   Alas, i won't misrepresent these relatively ordinary and definitely not-haunted earrings (and does that really happen?  Spirits haunting a ring or necklace?), and they most likely won't sell, but that's okay because then i'll wear them.)

And oh, boy, i made some fantastic earrings of a similar sort (dangly, charm, drops) using milagros and teeny weeny Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary color medals.  I need to run out and buy brass-colored ear wires, and then i'll post a photo.  But until then, here's the lucky earrings:

Money Luck Amulet on Ebay (SOLD)

Here's a new Money Luck Amulet that i just posted on eBay.  It's one of my chainlink charm drop amulets.  I've actually had this one kicking around for some time now, soaking on my money altar, waiting for the right time to be sold.  I like the precious little elephant charm.  Here's the eBay link.

New Sea Nut Amulets

I have had these little guys, along with a mental picture of the finished amulet, since August.  I got them at a hippie rock shop in Virginia Beach, and i instantly knew what i was going to do with them: make them into bizzare folk amulets of course.  The sign on the bucket said they were Sea Nuts, whatever that is.  I'm guessing they are floating seed pods that wash up on the shore, like Bat Nuts, and fall under the category of Lucky Brown Nut, Oiled and Carried as Pocket Pieces.  If anyone knows anything about these curios, i'd love to find out more.  they're vaguely familiar.

I'm going to systematicaly list these on ebay today (User ID: ldygry777, search "Sea Nut Amulet").  I'm including a small sample vial of oil to anoint the back and a length of black hemp to hang these amulets from.  They are fragile and hand-painted, and are made to be hung in your house, not carried in your pocket or otherwise.  I will probably never make another sea nut amulet quite like these, as they were like drilling through concrete and they almost did my drill and teeny drill bit in.

From top going clockwise:
~ SOLD A success amulet made with a tiny crown loteria card decopaged and gold-glittered, flanked by two brass crown charms and surrounded by gold beading.  There's a bead dangle from the eye screw which includes a wise little owl charm, a Job's Tear, and crystal and jade-like beads.

~ SOLD A protection amulet with a hand-painted evil eye.  there's four Indian Head penny charms on the four corners, and the outside edge, which is hard to see, is bordered in blue glitter.  The bead dangle includes a vintage eye milagro, a miliefiore blue eye bead, and two small Abrus seeds.

~ A good luck amulet with a real, dried four-leaf clover decoupaged onto a red hand-painted background, encircled with gold glitter and gold beading.  The bead dangle includes a sweet vintage good luck horseshoe charm and red, green, and gold beads.

~ A money amulet with a brass dollar sign charm decopauged onto a green hand-painted border, encircled with gold glitter and gold beading.  The bead dandle is comprised of a brass money bag charm, a yellow Jasper bead combined with gold filigree beads.

~ SOLD A love amulet with a vintage Sacred Heart milagro decoupaged onto a red hand-painted heart that's outlined in red glitter, surrounded by gold glitter dots.  The bead dangle is a brass heart charm with red and gold beads.
