Milagro Sacred & Immaculate Heart Earrings

Here's an awesome pair of earrings i just finished.  They're made of two gold-tone milargros; one's a praying man and the other's a praying woman.  Dangling above the milagros are two miniature full-color medals - the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart.  There are blue, red, and white glass beads; praying hands charms; a tiny Abrus seed; two clear Swarovski crystals; and a light blue and amber colored swirly glass bead.  They measure 2 inches from the base of the ear wire to the bottom of the milagros.  I love these earrings, and if i don't sell them to someone cool, i'll just keep them for myself.

A Lodestone Wish Box

I have been working on this little box for some time now.  It's been in my head for years actually, and it's just in the past month that i finally manifested it.  Honestly, my visions were grander than how this particular box turned out, but i think i'll continue to make these little guys using the same idea.

The Idea:
A box with a lid: painted, decorated, glittered, sequined, rhinestoned, decoupaged, etc.; to it a Lodestone somehow attached with some sort of paper-holding mechanism.  You use the assemblage as a wish box: write you wish down on paper, tuck it into the Lodestone-paper-holder, feed your Lodestone, close the box lid, and viola!  Your wish gets worked on.  Oh, and also important to me is that the inside lid have some sort of mirror - a Lodestone/wish-granting/mirror box.

Here is the first incarnation:

I'm debating whether to offer it for sale on eBay.  I would include some Blessing Oil and Magnetic Sand with it like a little kit.  Similar things i've offered like this haven't sold before, though.  I guess they're a little too wierd, maybe a little too folk-artsy and bizarre.  Again, i won't lose any sleep over that, though.  Any way, the paint is a little thick which makes opening and closing the lid not as easy as it should be.

Lucky Earrings

Here's a pair of earrings i whipped out earlier today.  They're good luck earrings, possibly one the first of many - sterling silver ear wires, pewter and silver-tone charms, glass beads, and genuine Abrus seeds.  I'm going to list them on eBay in the next few days.

(As a side note, i guarantee if i put the words "haunted" or "spell" on the eBay item description, they'd sell in a second, certainly for at least twice what they're worth.  I get a real kick out of reading the BS haunted listings on eBay, things that supposedly have genies or spirits in them, jewelry ritually blessed by a whole coven of gypsy witches, authentic witch-worn items, enchanted or "enspelled" this and thats.  And sadly, folks do really buy these items - a lot of folks buy these items.  There's a great eBay guide written by a very clever and kindly fellow on the topic which i recommend heartily - here's the link.   Alas, i won't misrepresent these relatively ordinary and definitely not-haunted earrings (and does that really happen?  Spirits haunting a ring or necklace?), and they most likely won't sell, but that's okay because then i'll wear them.)

And oh, boy, i made some fantastic earrings of a similar sort (dangly, charm, drops) using milagros and teeny weeny Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary color medals.  I need to run out and buy brass-colored ear wires, and then i'll post a photo.  But until then, here's the lucky earrings:
