Yo' do dat befo' sunup. An' then that holy angel will meet chew with that grace an' that power an' 'low [allow] yo' tuh have yore say with that man.

Spell Ingredients:
Cinnamon
Spices
Lodestone
Perfume

MAKE A TEA OF CINNAMON AND SPICES.
BATHE IN THE TEA.
PIN A BLESSED, DRESSED LODESTONE ON YOUR CLOTHING,
SO THAT IT IS NEXT TO YOUR BODY.
GO TO YOUR JOB INTERVIEW, CONFIDENT THAT YOU WILL BE HIRED.

 

Dress myself in the tea I just been telling you about - cinnamon and spices and so on. Bathe in that and rub it off in perfume. And [get] a lucky piece of lodestone that's been blest, and wear it - pin it onto my clothing next to my flesh. Have my mind centered - concentrated on the job. Just leave the bath and go straight to the employer - going to be sure in my mind I'm going to get it, get the job.

(What about lodestone?)

Lodestone must be dressed by consecrated hands to be effective. If it's been dressed by consecrated hands and you wear it next to your flesh, let no one's hands touch it but yours. It's very effective.

(Do you use anything on it at all?)

Yes, if you dress it. But it must be dressed every third day with some kind of perfume - be well dressed.
