A Lover's Balm ~ "Let's Kiss and Make-up" also known as the "Forgive and Forget" Spell

Here's a great trick to make up and mend fences with your lover.  It works for married couples or folks in committed relationships to smooth things out after having a spat.  This is not a reconciliation spell to return a long-lost lover, or to rekindle relations with an ex that has moved out and moved on.  Use this spell when there's no real threat of a break-up, say you've just had it out with your partner and he left with slammed doors to go sleep on his buddy's couch, BUT you know he'll be back the next day.  I find this works miraculously for sulking husbands, sullenly steaming in a back room.  There are also some relationships where the partners fight a lot - it's just a part of their nature.  They're otherwise loving and are thoroughly committed to each other; they just go at it somewhat regularly and not necessarily in an abusive manner.  Fortunately, my marriage doesn't fall under that category, but i find myself working this trick a few times a year with great success.  Enjoy it and use it in the spirit of Peace.

1)  You'll be making a sweet oil jar - what i call a balm jar.  You need a sturdy glass jar like a mason jar.  I use pint sized ones.  It needs a tight-fitting lid.  You can also reuse an empty and clean glass jar like a salsa jar or honey jar - just make sure there's no lingering smells.

2)  Make two name papers - one for you and one for your mate.  Get two small pieces of paper about four inches by four inches.  For yours, write your name three times, one over each other, three lines total.  Turn the paper 90 degrees, and over your name, crossing and covering them, write the phrase "Forgive and Forget" three times making a three-row tic-tac-toe looking grid.  Since this is confusing for many folks, here's a sample photo using the name John Smith in pencil and the command "Forgive and Forget" in blue.  You don't have to use two different color inks - i just did so the contrast showed better.

Make one paper for you using your name, and one for your mate using their name.  Place the two name papers together, writing sides facing each other.  Some people like to smear a little honey sandwiched between them as glue to further sweeten things, but i'll add that as an optional step.  Fold the joined name papers toward you, rotate it and fold it toward you again, and continue until you can't fold it any more.  You should have a small little folded wad.  Place it in the jar.

3)  Fill the jar 2/3 full with oil.  Use the best natural oil you have on hand, preferably Sweet Almond Oil or Olive Oil.  If you have neither of those, just use vegetable oil from your pantry.  Baby oil is a total last resort as it's petroleum-based - not very lovey.  I would make a quick run to the mini-mart to get some cooking oil before using baby oil, but do what you need to.

4)  Add a heaping tablespoon of sugar to the oil.

5)  Add an odd number of the following botanicals.  Make sure they are all propertly dired or your oil will spoil.  Use what you have; some are kitchen herbs for those who don't have a fully stocked curio cabnet - just be sure to pick 5, 7, 9, or 11 of these helpers:
Dried Roses - especially dried Roses or other Flowers your lover gave you in the past, Sandalwood, Myrrh, Basil, Majoram, Voilet leaf, Spikenard, Periwinkle, two Balm of Gilead buds, Sage leaf, Borage Flowers, Magnetic Sand, Pennyroyal, and/or Althea leaf (Althea root is quite smelly when hot infused in oil).

*If you wish to have make-up sex with your mate, you can add one or both of the following botanicals:  Dried Ginger root or powdered Ginger, and Cinnamon bark.  Only use this when tempers are not hot, because these spicy plants can inflame passions which may lead to hot-headedness.  Add the mentioned ingredients to have productive make-up sex when your partner is sullen, sulky, depressive, and/or apathetic - not hot-blooded.

Add the contents of a vitamin e capsule to the mix as a natural presevative.

6)  If you have a supply of condition oils, you may wish to add a few drops of one or more of the following complementary oils:  Reconciliation, Happy Heart and Soul, Love Me, Peaceful Home, Marriage Blessing, Kiss Me Now, Heal-All, and Bless My Heart.

7)  Stick your ring finger from your left hand into the balm jar and stir it, praying for reconciliation.  Here's a great affirmative prayer for relasing and forgiving:

"(Name of lover), know that i am holding us in prayer.  Enfolding you in love and understanding, i release any need to control outcomes for us.  I am assured that God is in charge, and that Divine Love infuses our circumstance.  As we go forward, i trust God to lead us in Divine Wisdom.  Making right choices, we move ahead with Faith and Trust.  Our desire is for the best for ourselves and each other.  With unlimited Faith and understanding Love, we release and forgive."

Of course spontaneous prayer from your heart is always powerful.

8)  Close the lid of the jar tightly, and set it in a cool water bath: a saucepan filled with cool water, the water at the level of the oil line in the jar.  You don't want your water higher than the oil in the jar, and you especially don't want the water over the jar's top.

9)  Heat GENTLY in the water bath.  Set the burner on the lowest setting.  You are warming the balm = warming your lover's heart, not heating up his temper, making him steam and boil with anger.  Do not let the water get anywhere near simmering.  It should barely steam, if at all.  One of the points is that on low heat, it takes 10-20 minutes to warm.  While it does, you are praying over the balm.  Pray to release and forgive, pray the 23rd Psalm, repeat the above prayer over and over, and/or pray spontaneously from your heart.  While warming the balm, you will usually be contacted by your mate to reconcile.  He may call you, come home, or return to you from his sulking exile.  Greet him with smiling open arms, as you have been working on releasing and dissolving your anger and hurt and you have already forgiven him in your heart.

10)  If he has not yet come to you and the balm is warm, take it out of its water bath, and if he's home, you go to him.  Sit down at his feet and lovingly apologize.  Take off his shoes and socks and rub his feet using the balm.  While stroking and massaging his feet, speak your desire to put your disagreement behind you and your desire to have a loving rest of your day/evening with him.  He will soften to your words, and the foot rub using the balm will dissolve his anger and sweeten him to you.  .You can also give him a hand and back rub with your balm - just don't use it on genitals.

If your lover has left your home, keep the balm on low heat all night if need be.  You will have to turn off the burner for 30 minutes and then turn it back on, maybe repeating this as needed.  Keep praying periodicaly while you tend to the balm, shaking it gently.  In prayer, you will probably recieve guidance when your mate is open to an apology.  Call him then and immediately reconcile, speak of no unpleasantness, and invite him back home.  When he arrives, certainly releived, offer him a foot rub with your "special homemade herbal massage oil" ;-)

Each time you use the balm, add a little bit more oil and a pinch of sugar to freshen it.  After about six months, the leafy herbs need to be spooned out or they may turn rancid.  Bury them in your back yard or in a potted plant by yur back door.  The roots and bark botanicals can stay in the jar indefinitely.  When you go to warm up another batch, add new leafy herbs to replace the ones you removed.  With use, your balm will get stronger and stronger not only from the herbal infusion but also through your concentrated prayers.  Feel free to use this balm in peacetime as well.  It will draw you and your partner closer and make your relationship more harmonious.

Here's the lyrics to a well-known spiritual titled "There is a Balm in Gilead"

There is a balm in Gilead
To make the wounded whole;
There is a balm in Gilead
To heal the sin-sick soul.

Some times I feel discouraged,
And think my work's in vain,
But then the Holy Spirit
Revives my soul again.

There is a balm in Gilead
To make the wounded whole;
There is a balm in Gilead
To heal the sin-sick soul.

If you can't preach like Peter,
If you can't pray like Paul,
Just tell the love of Jesus,
And say He died for all.

There is a balm in Gilead
To make the wounded whole;
There is a balm in Gilead
To heal the sin-sick soul.

Candlework plus an Affirmative Prayer/Meditation for Relationship Healing

Use this prayer when working for relationship healing such as reconciliation work or when a partner has left in anger.  Print out the prayer on an index card-size piece, and on the back, write out your petition for healing and reconciliation, signing your name at the end.
For long-term work prop the prayer/petition paper up against a white glass-encased vigil light candle.  If you are working for the quick return of a lover, say if he left the house in a huff, place your prayer paper under a white free-standing candle in a candleholder.  Anoint with Holy Oil mixed with a love oil such as Reconciliation, Adam and Eve, Love Come to Me, or Marriage House Blessing.  Light the candle and pray this prayer over and over with great feeling until you feel "right."
For greater effect, you may add personal concerns of you and your mate such as photographs surrounding the candle, hairs placed under the candle, love letters, Valentine's cards, etc.  If you have supplies on hand, rub the candle in a commerically-prepared love herb mix, or use rose petals and sprinkle them on and around the candle.

With unlimited faith and understanding love, i release and forgive.
Dear one, know that i am holding you in prayer.  Enfolding you in love and understanding, i release any need to control outcomes for us.  I am assured that God is in charge, and that Divine Love infuses our circumstance.
As we go forward, i trust God to lead us with Divine Wisdom.  As we follow, we are guided to refreshing levels of insight, new-found options of action, and renewed belief.
Making right choices, we move ahead with faith and trust.  Our desire is for the best for ourselves and each other.
Assured with serenity and comfort, we feel, acknowledge, and affirm:  Wherever we are, God is, and all is well.
With unlimited faith and understanding love, we release and forgive.

Magic During Crisis Times - When Your Lover Walks Out

I recently met a sweet woman who contacted me through eBay after reading my guides.  She is smart, well-educated, clear, and concise - a pleasure to communicate with, but she was in crisis.  She had been "the other woman" in an affair, had fallen deeply in love, this love was reciprocated, but her lover returned back to the other, long-standing relationship.  The woman who contacted me was understandibly distraught, and was seeking magical help from me.

I could tell it was a "crisis time" becuase of a couple bits gleaned from our emails.  1)  She had seen several workers and had several spells cast including break-up spells, and 2) after counseling her to take some time for healing and a short step back, she stated something to the effect of that she knew that was the higher route, but she just wasn't there yet.

Now, i completly sympathize with this woman, and my heart aches for her.  Her suffering was tangible, even through email.  I also pass no judgement on folks who wish to undertake break-up work or coercive work to keep a mate faithful.  I'll counsel you on how to do this work, but it's not something i choose to do on behalf of my clients - just my own personal boundaries.   I also don't do reconciliation crisis work for folks if:

1) They're the other woman/man.  This sounds harsh, and no judgements here, either.  I've been there myself.  It's just that as a spiritual worker, i will not work against what God has joined together - even if it's dysfunctional, and even if the love you share is real and stronger.  It is far better to wait and let those holy bonds be dissolved by legal divorce and/or ritual.  If you chose to undertake work to break them up, you will find the energetic cords of matrimony exceedingly hard to cut through.  And this is not even taking children into consideration.  It is my experieice that in the long run folks will always choose their children and family stability over a passionate new relationship.

2) If they don't take at least a tiny bit of time to heal themselves first - folks, we're talking about a week here!  If you can't take the time to burn a 7-Day vigil light for clarity and heart-healing, then i guarantee your emotions are not going to be steady enough to affect a successful reconciliation - no matter how much magical and spiritual help you get.  I'm not trying to divert you off your intent of reconciliation, it's just commonsense here.  If you can't invest a little bit of your energy into healing, how are you going to be of any use to your mate?

Now, there are plenty of quality workers who will take on clients in a relationship crisis who wish to do break-up work and come to me work, no questions asked.  These are just boundaries i've set for myself partly due to my talents and partly due to my own spiritual belief.  No one worker will fit every client.

Here's some more information and advice that i've writen on the subject to someone who was in a reconciliation crisis and was also the other woman:

"You are at a disadvantage, magical or mundane, being "the other woman."  I mean no disrespect by this at all, it's a situation i've been in myself, and i understand that the love you two shared was real, not a rebound or a thrill-seeking affair.  But you know what i mean as the other woman: there was an established relationship and there are children involved.

"It's been my experience that people will always choose their children - even if their children are being irrational - over a lover/spouse no matter how deep the love.

"If your hunch is right, if the two [the lover and the spouse] are back together again, you will be working against a large obstacle, magically and otherwise: they have time, commitment, and a family on their side.  people often choose this over passion and soulmate love, whether this is the right move or not, i can't be the judge.

"Although it probably kills you, i think it would not be in your best interest to try to interfere with their relationship.  Even if you were able to affect a break-up, magical or otherwise, it would not be clean.  Folks who use magic to accomplish this - and i know you've not suggested this, i'm just adding it as a FYI - have to constantly reinforce the work throughout the relationship and it usually doesn't last.  Anyone who promises you otherwise is not being truthful.

"Your lover needs to come to you with clear intentions:  as is I love you despite what others say, and i am completely and thoroughly yours - nothing lingering with my spouse.  This is a tall bill for anyone, and they must feel terribly torn - i know you must have put yourself in you lover's shoes.  Anything less than this, and i don't think there's the future you want from this relationship.

"It may just take time, though, and your lover may eventually come around and follow her heart.  Your lover has a lot of decisions - the ball's in his court as to how he wishes to live his life, with who, and how to placate his children.  The best and most loving thing you can do is support your lover and bless him from afar - giving him space.  It will also be the the most profound and holy gift you can offer him.

"To me, this is more of healing work, which i would be happy to undertake:  Healing for you, for your lover, for the kids, healing for your heart, which probably needs it badly.  I know this is probably not what you want to hear, but i'm giving you the best, most realistic advice i can give, and also giving you what i would prescibe from a magical point of view.

"If you feel you must try, then you must try.  Just please follow the parameters i set out in my eBay guide about reconciliation - set a time limit for you to do this work, as in by _____ if i do not have my lover back faithful and happy with me, i will move on.  You have to stick with this, though, but it can be however long you know is right in your heart: three, six months, a year.

"With magic, more is not always better.  If you have a bunch of intentions bouncing about in the ethers such as: Lover come back to me, My lover and his spouse break-up, etc. etc., i think it can be counter-productive but they don't necessarily cancel eachother out.  I just think it's not as tidy, which may be a direct reflection of how you're currently feeling.  I would advise you to pick an intention such as: "My lover and i are enjoying a satifiying, commited relationship," or "My heart is healed by God's overflowing Love," or "All parties involved in this relationship are healed and surrounded by Love," something.  Find one intention in your heart and stick with it.  Then if you want to employ various workers on your behalf, they will at least be on the same page.

"Here's a prayer i just typed up right as you emailed me.  A coincidence?  Maybe now - or at some other point - it may be of help:

"With unlimited faith and understanding love, I release and forgive.

"My advice would be that you take a month off: devote yourself to spiritual pursuits and self-improvement, heal yourself, take care of yourself, fast, take spiritual baths, pray and meditate frequently or learn how to pray and meditate, join a spiritual community for support, talk to a therapist, do a spiritual cleansing of your house, etc.  With a clearer slate and a clearer mind, you would then act in a manner closer to your ultimate good, with a cooler head, and without the distracting passionate emotions.

"But few people heed this advice - you won't hurt my feelings if you pass on it.

"The type of work i do is spiritual in nature.  I don't do break-up work, i won't work for "the other woman," and i don't do overly coercive magic on behalf of clients - not that i judge anyone whatsoever for undertaking this kind of work at all or think that this work is beneath me or whatever.  These are just boundaries i've set for my client work.

"Magic done in crisis times is usually not effective, unless your intents are pure and holy such as work done for crisises such as illness, surgery, safety issues, etc.  The reasons are obvious - people are usually desperate and all over the place.  they flip from wanting to do reconciliation work one day to wanting to curse their ex the next day.

"You had shared something with me in your candor that summed it up, something like if you could rise above it, act in accordance with what you know is higher and holier, you would, but you're just not there yet.  And i totally know where you're coming from - i'm not judging you or saying you should be feeling anything else.  It's just where you are now, and that's fine.  Nothing is permanent, everything unfolds exactly as it should.

"For relationship crisises, the best i can do is offer healing work.  I suggested taking a month - or at a minimum a week - to focus on yourself and your healing.  Don't talk to your lover, take a temporary step back, and let the fog lift a bit.  I offered some healing ideas previously.  All of those can have profound evolutionary effect.

"It has been my experience that when people are scattered and overrun by their emotions, their actions mirror this internal state - they hire worker after worker, psychic reader after reader, spells on top of spells, to no avail.  This is because for magic to work, you have to have clear intentions and come from a place of steady conviction.  With magic, more is not better.  Clarity is what rules.  It also doesn't matter if you hire a professional to do the work for you.  A professional may have a clear mind and experience, but it's your heart and soul that will be attracting the effects (or lack thereof).

"I understand your desire to reconcile this relationship - i can feel your suffering.  This desire probably won't go away overnight, but some of the desperation will, and with a little time you'll certainly act in a way closer to your highest good.  You may still want to undertake reconciliation work, but this time you'll be more effective and focused, less angry and hurt.   You also may get some insight into your relationship, see things about your partner that you didn't see before, and maybe years down the road you'll thank God for unanswered prayers.

"In the meantime, for a reconciliation crisis, I would be happy to do candlework for your healing and the healing of the relationship - not the reconciliation.  A reconciliation may be an effect of the candlework, but i wouldn't be my focus yet if i was to do your work.  i think a lot of personal healing has to be done before you two can have a shot at a healthy relationship.  i think this would be true even if your lover came back to you today.  Another symptom of healing work is that it could work in different ways than what you (or i) envision.  You could move on; your lover could move on; your lover could expereince healing with his children, family, and spouse; you could experience healing in other arenas in your life, etc.  unfortunately magic/spiritual work is not like writing in a future script, setting in stone all your desires.  You are directing natural energies to your aid, opening up a channel to the universe to receive the good coming to you, and putting up a beakon to God and your inner self to attract what you desire.  Sometimes the effects are not as you would envision - an example would be doing money-drawing work hoping to hit the lottery, but ending up with tons of overtime opportunities, weekend work, etc.

"I think a magical candle decorated with prayers and affirmations and power symbols, infused with healing, burned at your home as part of a week-long healing practice would be my best recomendation.  These candles burn for 4-7 days, and you could really make a great healing ritual for yourself consisting of healing baths, building a self-healing altar, spiritual reading, prayers and meditations, a cleansing diet and detox tea, incense, etc., all while the candle was burning and/or done in front of it.  i can also supply you with spiritual supplies such as incense and bath crystals and recommend readings and prayers if you desire.

"I can make a candle for you as described above and and also make its mate for me to keep and burn on my altar as well.  We would time our candles to be lit at the same time, and i would offer my prayers and energies twice a day.  These are the two options i feel confident in offering a person in the midst of a reconciliation crisis.  I'm sorry if it's somewhat disappointing, and i'd be happy of course to keep you in my prayers if you decide to seek work elsewhere.

"Once you have spent a month healing, and you have set a firm deadline for doing reconciliation work (asking God/your higher self for a time when you will stop working for reconciliation), if the fog has lifted and you feel a bit more insightful and clear, you also feel that you can work according to what you know is good and in your best interest, i may then help with reconciliation work.  I just don't do relationship crisis work as i find it's a waste of time and money, and i couldn't undertake it ethically in good faith."

Lover, Return To Me Spell

LOVER, RETURN TO ME SPELL

A Magical Working for Reconciliation

* A word of gratitude to an important teacher, miss cat of Lucky Mojo.  We are blessed by her generosity, and her prolific sharing of her magical techniques and wisdom.  This spell draws on some of her teachings, notably the honey jar technique.  I don't know how I ever managed without it and am deeply grateful.

There are a lot of supplies and a lot of steps involved with this particular spell.  This spell is complex becuase reconciliation is complex.  If you want it bad enough, you will follow this spell to the letter.  You are being aided by many naturally powerful items such as Lodestones and Herbs which will combine with your intent to help effect your reconciliation.  Don't leave out any steps.

Do not be intimidated - you can do it, many others have paved the way.  Read my other article entitled "Cast Your Own Magic Spell..." for more info, and also don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.  If you are contemplaing this spell, please read it over in its entirety several times before starting.  All the supplies can be purchased at your local occult shop or botanica, and can also be easily had from any number of online merchants.  I also make and stock many of the requisite supplies.  Check out my website for more info and pricing: www.ahighersourcesupply.com   I will also offer substitution suggestions in the body of the spell to save you money on supplies.

You will need:

~ 8 Red 4" candles ~ 2 small candleholders with a small base ~ Reconciliation Condition Oil ~ Reconciliation Incense ~ a packet of Love Herbs (about 1/2 cup) ~ a matched pair of xsmall or small Lodestones of the appropriate gender (male/female, male/male, female/female depending) ~ a small bag of Magnetic Sand ~ a pair of Balm of Gilead Buds ~ a clean and empty glass jar with a METAL lid (a mason jar, salsa jar, etc.) ~ enough honey to fill this jar halfway ~ stationary ~ two squares of paper about 3"x3" ~ a pencil ~ an incense burner for loose incense, not a stick burner unless you're using stick incense (you can use a small cast iron skillet and put down an inch or more of kosher salt to protect the finish if you desire) ~ a pin

1)  Re-read the spell a dozen times or so until you are familiar with it.  Collect all the supplies and lay them out on your altar space.  This needs to be a cleared off table or counterspace of at least 18."  You will need to keep the altar set up for 7 days, if not longer, so consider a space that is private.  Some folks have erected altars on top of a refridgerator, on their bedside table, or in a closet.  You will have to burn candles, so keep that in mind when selecting an altar space.  Decorate this altar with any other personal items which represent love and your relationship such as photos, flowers, cards, etc.  Make sure you leave yourself plenty of room, though.

2)  Start this spell on a Friday morning, preferably before dawn, certainly before you have begun the mundane aspects of your day.  Expect to devote two hours for the first morning's work.  Prepare youself in any way which feels right to you - bathe with a special Rose-scented soap, meditate, smudge yourself with a Sage wand, pray, etc.  Make sure you will not be bothered, lock your door and take your phone off the hook.

3)  When ready, stand before your altar and light some incense.  Use a magical incense for extra power such as Reconciliation, or use regular Rose, Vanilla, or Sandalwood stick or cone incense to save on money.

The spell has begun.

4)  Set up the altar as follows: incense burner in the back right corner, jar in the center, filled halfway with honey, other supplies in the back left corner.  You are going to prepare a candle to represent yourself which will start on the far left side center about 9 inches away from the honey jar.  You are going to prepare a candle symbolizing your lover which will start on the far right side center, again about 9 inches away from the honey jar.  These two candles are going to move slowly together during the spell, symbolizing you and your ex coming back together, until they reach the honey jar and then they'll burn together, reunited.

5)  Before all that, though, prepare a name paper for yourself.  Use a small square of paper.  Write the sentence "I am open to forgiveness and reconciliation" across the center.  Feel this statement as you write it.  Turn the paper 90 degrees and sign your name over the sentence, making a cross, your name over the petition.  Set this on the left side of the altar.

6)  Create a name paper for your ex.  Do it in the same manner as above, but sign his name instead.  Set this down on the right side of the altar.

7)  Prepare your candle.  Take one of your red candles, and using the pin, carve your initials over his initials with a plus sign in the middle surrounded by a heart - you know, the kind of thing people carve into trees.  Carve the words "Return to Me" on one side writing in a vertical line, from top to bottom, one letter on top of the other.  Carve any other symbols like a peace sign, more hearts, personal symbols such as astrology gylphs, etc.

Rub Reconciliation Condition Oil on the candle from the wick downward, with the base of the candle pointing at your heart.  As you do so, state with great feeling "(Name of lover), Return to Me."  Place your candle in a candleholder on top of your name paper on the left side of the altar.

If you cannot afford to purchase a magic Condition Oil such as Reconciliation, you may anoint each candle with a bit of honey from the jar - it's used to sweeten your relationship and sweeten your lover back to you.

8)  Prepare his candle the same way except carve his initials on top of yours inside the heart.  Again speak your petition out loud, "(Name), Return to Me."  Place his candle in a holder over his name paper on the right side.  Make sure both candles are in the center of the altar with the honey jar in the middle, each candle about 9" or so from the honey jar, about 18" apart from each other.

9)  Take out your Lodestones and find out which one is the male and which one is the female.  Males are more pointed, pyramid shaped, elongated, phallic.  Female Lodestones are more rounded, square shaped, and squat.  Add a pinch of Magnetic Sand to the two stones and figure out which sides draw the strongest to each other, like depicted in the photo below.  They should also snuggle nicely together on that same side.  This is the way the two Lodestones are going to be facing each other during the spell.

Place the female Lodestone against your candle also on top of the name paper (if you are a woman.  If you're a man obviously use the male Lodestone with your candle representation and the same gender Lodestone as your lover).  Make sure the strong side is facing inwards towards your lover's candle.  Place the male Lodestone in the same manner with your ex's candle.

10)  Feed each Lodestone first with a drop of Reconciliation Condition Oil, then a pinch of Magnetic Sand.  Name your Lodestones with your name and the name of your mate.  As you oil and sprinkle Magnetic Sand on each one, speak to them by name something like this:  "Mary-stone, thank you for attracting my John back to me," and for your lover's stone: "John-stone, thank you for returning to me."

Lodestones are natural magnets and are used magically to attract people, money, and luck.  Their powers are unparalleled in this type of working.  You can also use a regular magnet - pry them off the back of two refrigerator magnets.  Some people claim fantastic results with regular magnets.  I've never used them, but I don't see why they wouldn't work.  If you are not using Condition Oil, use honey to anoint the Lodestones.  To save a few more bucks you can scape a small amount of "homemade" Magnetic Sand by taking a flat screwdriver to the backside of a real cast iron pan.  Use these scrapings to sprinkle on your Lodestones or magnets.

11)  Anoint each Balm of Gilead Bud with a dab of Reconciliation Condition Oil and place one bud by each Lodestone.

12)  Sprinkle your Love Herbs in a rough circle surrounding your candles and the honey jar.  As you do so say with emotion, "(Name of Lover), return to me."  If you can't afford to buy prepared magic spell herbs, make your own reconciliation blend choosing an odd number of the following common household herbs: Rose Petals, Corriander Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Rosemary, Sugar, Catnip, Ginger, Juniper Berries, and/or Majoram.

13)  Make sure your incense is still going.  Light the candles starting with yours first.  As you light each one say, "(Name of Lover), Return to Me."  Pray for forgiveness and reconciliation.  You may also read relevant scripture and prayers which you have researched beforehand.  Try the Song of Songs and A Love Song by St. Teresa of Avila.

14)  After several minutes of prayer and when you feel "right," move the two candles, with the name papers, Lodestones, and Balm of Gilead Buds, closer together by about an inch.  As you do so again say, "(Name of Lover), Return to Me."  Each time you move your candles closer, add a pich of Magnetic sand to each Lodestone.  Pray.

15)  Now, write a heartfelt letter to God.  If you are uncomfortable with this idea, write a letter to the Universe or your Higher Self.  Write this letter in the center of your altar in between the candles and in front of the honey jar.  Write this letter in present tense, like all your prayers have already been answered.  Thank God for reconciliation, for healing your heart, for forgiveness.  Include the lessons you both have learned and how you are a better person.  Tell God your future plans for your relationship.

This letter may go somewhat like this:  Dear God, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for warming John's heart and bringing him safely back to me.  God, we feel your loving presence; it has touched our lives profoundly.  Thank you for mending my sorrows, helping me to trust, and to put my utmost faith in Your divine plan for my life.  I have learned so much in the past few months...

Be detailed, take your time.  Write a page at least.  Remember to thank God for the perfect outcome which you have already received.  Sign your letter at the bottom affirming, "As God as my witness, these truthful words shall come to pass."

While writing your letter, say every five minutes or so, move the candles and Lodestones closer together by 1-2 inch increments.  Each time you do so, say with deep feeling: "(Name of lover), return to me."  Time your letter writing and candle moving so that by the time you are finished with your letter, the two candles are about 3 inches apart, a little in front of the honey jar.

16)  Finally, move the two candles together.  Have them be as close as their candleholders allow, ideally with their two flames joined as one.  Say "(Name of Lover), United in Love, You Return to Me."    Sprinkle enough Magnetic Sand on the two Lodestones, which should now be touching, to cover them.

17)  Now read your letter to God out loud with sincere emotion.  When you are finished, fold this letter in half towards you and place it under the honey jar.  Stay in prayer while the two candles burn down.  Be open to any guidance you may receive.

18)  When the candles extinguish, chip up the candle wax and put it inside the honey jar.  Take your lover's name paper and smear the writing side with honey.  Put the Lodestones still snuggled together, their Magnetic Sand, the Balm of Gilead Buds, and a pinch of the Spell Herbs on the center of the honeyed name paper.  Take your name paper and gently press it down on top of his name paper, writting sides together, enclosing the Lodestones and other items.  Place this inside the honey jar as well, pushing down so it's covered by the honey.  Add some of the Love Herbs to the honey jar as well.  If you have any personal items from your lover, such as a hair, fingernail clipping, handwritting sample, or snip of worn clothing, add this to the honey jar along with a personal items of yours.  Cap the jar tightly.  You are done with Day 1.  End with prayer and go about your day.

19)  On day two, in the morning prepare yourself in the same manner as the day before.  Take your letter to God out from under the honey jar.  Fix one red candle in the same manner, this time carving your lover's intitials on top of yours, oiling it, lighting incense, and now burn this single candle ON TOP of the honey jar.  As you light the candle again state, "(Name of lover), return to me."  Read your letter out loud and pray.  Let the candle burn down without extinguishing it.  Don't pick at the wax drippings that may form on the side of the jar.  Let them accumulate.

20)  On day three, proceed in the same manner as day two - fix your candles, read the letter to God, pray.  This time, though, compose an apology and reconciliation letter to your mate.  Write this letter while the candle and incense are burning.  Include the following things in your letter: apologize for your transgressions, forgive him for his, offer reconciliation and a desire to rekindle the relationship.  Sign your name at the bottom and kiss your signature, getting your essence onto the paper.  Sprinkle some of the herbs on the letter and run your fingers through the herbs lightly moving toward your body.  Let the reconciliation letter stay on your altar for the next four days.  You can place it under the honey jar if you so desire.

21)  On days four through six continue fixing and lighting candles to burn on top of the honey jar.  Let the reconciliation letter stay in the center of your altar or under the honey jar.

22)  On day seven, fix and light your last candle.  While it burns, place the reconciliation letter in an addressed envelop.  Before folding the letter up and sealing it, shake the herbs off  and waive it in incense smoke.  Hold it pressed against your heart and pray for reconciliation.  Seal it with another kiss.  Pray while the candle burns down.

23)  Finish up the spell by collecting the remnants:  the Spell Herbs, incense ash, and any wax that has accumulated off of the honey jar.  Do not pick off the wax on the top or sides of the honey jar.  Wrap these items in tissue paper, a clean piece of cloth, or an envelope.  Keep your letter to God under the honey jar or amongst your most sacred items.  Place the honey jar in a special place, preferably by your bed.  Build a love altar around it if you wish.

You may chose to continue burning a fixed candle a day on top of the honey jar if you so desire.  You could also burn a candle every Friday to continue the work as well.  I would recommend it.

24)  Anoint your body with the Reconciliation Condition Oil, dress in clean clothes, and walk outside to mail your letter.  Keep a solemn mindframe, praying while you go about your task.

Bury the spell remnants outside your front door.  If you live in an apartment, bury them in a potted plant.  The remnants will help attract your lover to you and your home.

The spell is done.

~ Please remember to keep to your time limit discussed above when doing reconciliation work.  For a boost, wear Reconciliation Condition Oil as a magical perfume and burn Reconciliation Incense  in your home.

~ I hope this spell is of service.  Use it in peace and health.
